The Long of it -
My name is Benjamin and I live in good ol' Dubuque, IA with my lovely wife, Jennie, three daughters (Cambrie, Emmie & Attley) and a spoiled dachshund named Rose.
I grew up in Southeast Oklahoma and knew from a young age that engineering was my calling. I graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Soon after, I became a professional engineer, and never looked back.
I started my own business for two reasons. I get to set my own hours & I get to serve others.
Serving the client is very important to me. When I started Bohn Engineering, I knew I would model it after my dad's business, Hermann's Cabinet Shop. My father taught me how important it is to do a quality job that satisfies the customer.
My dad immigrated to the US when he was 26 from Germany. He was a master carpenter by trade. He started his business and it prospered, due to the values he lived by - serving others, pride in his work and quality in what he creates.
We have the same philosophy: there's two ways of doing things, the right way and my way...and they're both the same thing!
